Who We Are
We are a source of new friendships, fresh perspectives,
and opportunities to help others. Since 1925, three principal objectives have shaped our activities:
- Support of civic or philanthropic organizations that contribute to the betterment of the community
- Promotion of literature, education, and the fine arts
- Discussion of topics of public interest
Our current membership numbers more than 200 women, who represent a wide variety of careers and experience. Not simply a local organization, we share the goals of more than 100,000 members in affiliated clubs in every state and a dozen countries. The General Federation of Women’s Clubs is one of the oldest and largest, nonpartisan, nondenomin-ational women’s volunteer service organizations. It is a powerful force for change.
