Rushmore’s Carver

Siobhan Burrell introduced Lou Del Bianco,  author and actor, dressed like his 

Port Chester grandfather Luigi Del Bianco, chief carver of Mt. Rushmore.

He recounted his long efforts to persuade the U.S. Parks Department to accord 

Luigi official recognition.  The absorbing program in March was preceded by announcements 

of important developments by the Club’s officers.
